To Love Again

There's no right schedule on when to love again. Nor is there a right formula on not committing the same mistakes. Because life as we know it, is full of surprises.
We may end up crying one moment, then loving again that same person the next time around. We may bitterly swear we forever won't love again, then comes a seemingly perfect person swooning us off our feet. We may post millions of anti-love Facebook status, then be the one to write love letters and love songs when that fateful day comes. Again, life is full of surprises.
Only we can answer our questions on the complex beauty of love. And no, we must not base our decisions on turnaround of relationships of people close to us: breakups, broken families, third parties and irreconcilable differences. Because each man is unique. Each man has a different story.
So it's up to us to take that leap in a bungee jump - or sit across coffee shops pretending not to care, to take that domestic or international flight to see that person - or stay at home, watch movies, eat fries and ice cream and repeat the same routine, to give that first call or SMS to try to reconnect and give the relationship one last try - or forever be in unserious relationships because of the fear of commitment or the feel of sweet revenge (even when that's a different person and we just generalized).
It's up to us to lower down our walls and welcome love with surprises, to reconsider the situation and eat down our pride, to set aside that scar or remember that scar as contributory to our present self, to not wait for the so-called 3-month-rule that we only learned from Popoy and Basha, to love again, get hurt, and yet still love again.
And when we love again, we must bear in mind that we will not be sailing calm waves, watching amazing sunsets, pretty butterflies and beautiful rainbows, nor will it be strawberry gelatos, red velvet macaroons, white chocolates, red roses and pink balloons. It will be another roller coaster ride, so we'll have to stand with our choice.
Because love, is a choice.
"Fall in Love. Stay in Love. And it will decide everything." - Fr. Pedro Arrupe, SJ #Love #StartingOverAgain

Are you a Registered Voter?

Are you the type who often complains about the problems of society: poverty, graft and corruption, public transportation and road traffics?

Do you often post on Facebook your sentiments of a failed government, crooked officials, illogical policies and the like? Do you often see your local government unit as an epitome of people just greedy of fame and power? Do you feel frustrated when there are things you know can be handled by local and national leaders but they never did address those issues?

Do you ride public transportations and ask yourself why does Singapore have citizens who follow traffic rules and responsible drivers following road signs? Or Japan having a systemized public transportation? Do you almost always compare the Philippines with other countries and the people making up those nations?

Do you sometimes ask yourself why do we have leaders who don't have credibility and integrity, aspiring politicians who don't have educational background and never even tried leading a school organization or  a school group project for that matter, or celebrities who know nothing about politics but are running because the chances of them winning the C, D, E votes are high?

In the 2010 Presidential Elections, the campaign was: "Ako ang simula ng pagbabago."

I want to ask further. Are you a registered voter?

it's all coming back to me now

no, this isn't about the song, nor a reminisce of the past.

this is just a come back post.

finally, after 300 million years, I got my password back. Actually after changing it, I forgot the pw again.

am I that old????? :p

After more than 6 months of abstinence from Facebook last year, I renewed my FB self and got so active again it's already annoying. Yeah, I got even annoyed with my own posts when I review them so I delete them one by one. Lol

For the upcoming Holy Week season, I began my FB abstinence again (beginning Ash Wednesday). I kind of try not to post on my own timeline. So what I do is post on other people's timeline, or message them or like all the photos in my newsfeed and comment nonsense things. So that's how I try not to talk. Like when you ask a kid not to talk, so the kid bugs you in all the other ways he/she can think of - that's what I'm doing in Facebook now. :p

Oh hello blog! it's great to be back. :) did u miss me? :)

you should have missed me. :p

I'm excited next month, and next next month, and next next next next next next.... months.

Wala lang. Positivities. The secret.

I think I'll trying checking the house for a good garage where I could park my car. Lol.

I met a friend once in college and he had a laptop backpack with him. So I got excited and asked to see the laptop. He said he didn't have it yet. He bought the bag first so he'll be inspired. Lol!!!!!!! That's the secret! :)

So I'm gonna get nice car keychains now, and maybe accessories too so when I finally get my Porsche 918 Spyder or McLaren P1/Koenigsegg Agera R/Pagani Huayra/Lambhorgini Veneno, I will be oh so ready. Lol!!!!!!

Bye for now. :) See you soon blog! :)
